Lane Bull
Lane Bull is a fourth grader at Dabbs Elementary. He was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in the first grade. Lane has been through remission three times so far. Lane enjoys playing baseball, writing, and the color blue. Recently, he has gone through surgery to remove a tumor from his jaw. He is using a feeding tube at the moment, but he is becoming stronger every day!

Iliana Zambrano
Iliana Zambrano is a junior at Deer Park High School South campus. In August, Iliana was diagnosed with Leukemia. Leukemia is a cancer that originates in the blood-forming tissue. It is characterized by uncontrolled growth of blood cells. Iliana has gone under three rounds of big gun chemotherapy and has two rounds left. Iliana is a band member at South campus. She plays the flute in the marching band. Her favorite color is purple and she loves Twenty-One Pilots. |
Ana Rivera
Ana Rivera is a nine year old who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the end of January. Her favorite color is red, she loves to play with her German Shepherd named Harvey, and she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. So far, she has gone through about 25 chemo treatments. She loves the hot dogs from Carpenter Elementary, and the cafeteria manager there, Jo Puckett, has made sure she gets a hot dog whenever she wants.

Sabyne Robles
Sabyne is an 8th grader at Deer Park Junior High, and is in our Caring Community class. She enjoys singing in choir and is a straight A student. In 6th grade she was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer, but had surgery to remove it. Recently she found out it came back. Thyroid cancer can grow and spread. Sabyne has to undergo radiation and have surgery again. We are hoping it will be gone within a year.
